The Mary Whitehouse Experience
When The Mary Whitehouse Experience were big (and they were big enough to fill Wembley) in the late 1980s' early 1990's I was far more into music, but since have enjoyed work retrospectively from David Badeil. I used to think lots of other comedians were in The MW such as Frank Skinner and Stewart Lee - they weren't, but they should have been. :-) |

The Mary Whitehouse Experience : Series 2 Despite the fame and popularity of the 4 comedians throughout the 90's, it's seems that the show that brought them to the attention of UK audiences was forgotten. Which is a great shame, as it was excellent. A hilarious mixture of stand up and sketches. For a brief time in the early 90's teenagers and 20 something's across the land were treated to a slice of something special. Uniquely funny, and endlessly quotable. Shortly Lived. |
