It was broadcast at 11.00pm on Saturday nights for one series in 1982. O.T.T. was created and presented by Chris Tarrant, and also starred ex-Tiswasians John Gorman, Lenny Henry and Bob Carolgees. Helen Atkinson-Wood was the female sidekick replacement for Sally James, who stayed behind to present the concurrent and final series of Tiswas alone. |

The stars of ATV's anarchic Saturday morning kids show "Tiswas" reunite for a one-off special.
The show was heavily cut for ITV broadcast, not for censorship reasons but for timing. A much more fuller version of the show can be seen on the official DVD, which features a new intro, Paul Hardin, Chris Tarrant's comedy vicar routine, animal clips, the full rant from John Gorman's 'Albert Grumble' character, a Frank Carson joke, various 'Tiswas' clips and a thank-you speech to the audience from Chris Tarrant. |
