Series 1 (6 Episodes)
The Fast Show was a working title disliked by both Whitehouse and Higson that went unchanged through production and eventually remained as the final title.
The first series introduced the characters Ted and Ralph, 'Unlucky' Alf, Ron Manager, The Suit You Tailors, Arthur Atkinson, Bob Fleming and many others, who, despite their sketchy and gritty beginnings, became 'cult characters' cherished all around the world.

Xmas Special 1994
This video is excellent. Including all the favorites Colin, Unlucky Alf, The suits you men etc. You will roar with laughter after seeing this. It is only disapointing that it dosent last longer. It is all Xmas orrinantated so the 'does my um looking big in this' woman is a fairy on top of a Christmas tree asking 2 kids if see her bum looks big with the tree up her bum. A must buy, you will not regret it.

Simon and Minty are two 'posh' chefs who specialise in cooking extravagant, expensive food, and have little time for those who don't. This comedy series focuses on one type of cooking each week, and generally results in tensions or underlying issues being revealed in the couple's relationship.

Swiss claims "Buying a car is like making love to a beautiful woman", he will no doubt entertain, enthral, evoke laughter and most of all make you feel evolved. With his blonde quiff standing to attention and his grey shot-silk suit sparkling under the showroom lights, Swiss Toni is the emperor of his car emporium. However, Toni is being taught to drive by his long-suffering wife Ruth and is consistently out-performed by his alcoholic employee, Geoff. Swiss Toni is cheesy, out-of-date and chauvinistic - which is why everyone loves him.

Help: Series 1 (6 Episodes)
Unreleased on DVD
Chris plays a therapist and Paul plays a different character each week seeking help.
The show's working title was "Crazy", and the original concept was to have Chris Langham's therapist talking to various celebrity clients. Langham disliked the idea, and suggested that Paul Whitehouse play all the client roles - even though the two had never worked together, or even met.

More Industrial Revelations : Series 1
Industrial Revelations launches with facts about the development of the Industrial Age in Great Britain. Mark presents this show in a very down-to-earth fashion and indulges in more hands-on activity - getting up close and dirty for that sense of realism.
His easy style and delivery is untypical of the usual 'historical' documentary presenter, however, the viewer still benefits from a concise narrative with delicious editorial asides to camera.
I'm missing the episode with a red cross next to them.

On The Rails : Series 12

On The Rails : Series 1
This is a very entertaining history of the last 200 years or so of the railways. In roughly chronolgical order, the series covers everything that anybody with a passing interest may want to know.
Mark Williams is an amiable presenter and neither patronises or assumes knowledge in the viewer. His obvious fondness of everything rail comes across in an entirely unthreatenin way.On the Rails will, in my opinion, appeal to those generally interested in British history - because this is largely a tale of innovation in Great Britain - and those or with a genuine curiosity of the subject. - J.Westerman Amazon.com
