Jerry Sadowitz

Jerry Sadowitz, born 4 November 1961 is an American/Scottish card magician and controversial stand-up comic. An accomplished practitioner of sleight of hand, he has written several books on magic and invented many conjuring innovations. He is widely acclaimed as one of the best close-up magicians in the business and self-proclaimed wanker. July 2018 update : Jerry emailed me to asked me to stop offering to provide copies (on CD /DVD) of his material from this site for fans. I'm not here to piss people off or indeed rip them off - look at the charges! I'm a fan, ideally swapping with others - if you're a swapper (of anything not just Jerry's stuff) then email me. Quality 7/10 He performed two separate shows at the 2005 Edinburgh Fringe, a stand up comedy show (Not For The Easily Offended) at The Queens Hall and Jerry Sadowitz - Card Tricks & Close Up Magic at The Assembly Rooms. The comedy show included a character named "Rabbi Burns", a cross between a Jew and the famous Scottish poet. He performed a similar series of shows at the Soho Theatre in London between December 2006 and January 2007. CD's can hold either 700MB of data or 80 minutes of audio playable in a regular CD player. Jerry Sadowitz Malcolm Hardee Dave Courtney	The People Vs Jerry Sadowitz The first show broke more taboos than the entire first series of 'Oz'- the first use of the c-word on a comedy programme on British Network Television (to say nothing of more f-words than 'Pulp Fiction') this was an alternative chat-show where Sadowitz would interview members of the general public, who would be thrown off if they bored him. Jerry Sadowitz	Gobshite While still with Hardee as his manager, Sadowitz's hit 1987 Edinburgh Fringe show Total Abuse was turned into the album Gobshite although edited, but was soon withdrawn due to fears it may have libeled Jimmy Savillle being a kiddy fiddler.
