This show was a 2001 television comedy series directed by Stewart Lee. It starred Simon Munnery as his League Against Tedium character and contained acerbic stand-up routines atop of a transit van and sketches including mainstays such as "24 Hour News", (performed by Johnny Vegas), operatic intermissions by Kombat Opera and a two characters engaged in a duel over their hats. |

Series 1 & 2 : 12 episodes - 30 minutes each. Unavailable on VHS or DVD (2010) In the same vein of the smell of Reeves and Mortimer, this is a British comedy show that plays off as a variety show, with filmed sketches and many regulars, involving a mock up of Rod Hull with a fake arm, and the hobby master. I think it is quite possibly the only series to feature the recipe for "chicken lollies." I downloaded these from somewhere online and the quality is about 7/10. All 12 episodes fit on a single DVD. |

Series 1 & 2 : 18 episodes - 45 minutes each. Unavailable on VHS or DVD (2010) The best work so far of comedy duo Lee & Herring, these two live series, both originally broadcast Sunday lunchtimes, are just brilliant! Continuing with their running gags & catchphrases you see the usual familiar faces, such as the actor Kevin Eldon, appearing as a number of characters. And because it is live often things don't go quite to plan! Sketches & features include Histor's Eye, The Organ Gang, When Insects Attack, The Unusual Priest, Sunday Heroes, The Curious Orange, When Things Get Knocked Over Spill Or Fall Out Of Cupboards, Lazy Comedy Slags, There'll Always Be Milk, Nostradamus, Trevor & Nathalie, King (or Queen) Of The Show and, of course, Simon Quinlank to name just a few. Why oh why didn't the BBC give them another series? Quality 6/10. Fans Only |
